I've always ran a straight tip and then adjusted for the angle. I like the idea of using the bent (I call it a scarfing) tip. Always leaning new tricks. Love the videos bro keep em comin!!

That's it man I thought we going to weld something I've always known them things to be called a scarfing tip that's the type of tip that we use to remove weld metal in a hand torch when I was growing up you had to learn how to use one of them before you can use a gouge I've never seen one on a beveling torch looks like you did an excellent job

Do you have to supply your own misc. equipment? Bevelers, grinders, drills Or does the company provide them? Same question for consumables: rods, grinding discs, cutting discs, etc

How do you know it's going to cut square? And do you need to own your own bottles first?
@ivermectin31912 ай бұрын
Nobody ever does a video on lining up a beveler on a specific cut length…. Please do one

i'm sorry im not familiar with the beveling machine, does it matter where the hoses go?
@JacobSchofield7 жыл бұрын
Faustino Avalos the bevel machine is what helps you cut square. The torch is where the hoses hookup. I'm glad you mentioned it cause I'm sure a lot of people don't know. We will do a video on it.

Actually, you shut the oxygen lever off first to prevent potential blowing out the bevel. If you set everything right, you can shut your acetylene off and cut with straight oxygen.
