@@ensistify3465 no. Shadow asks for video suggestions so I was giving him one. He has had hatchlings and full grown sulcatas, so it wouldn't have been too hard to record them at a few months to a few years depending how quickly he sells them.

Hey man I had a question, I currently have an indoor setup for baby red foots and have some baby Sulcatas coming in soon, I know eventually you would have to put them in separate environments but I was wondering if they can cohabitate as babies? If so how long would you recommend?

I know your care guide shows the tote should be at least 2 x 3, but what about the height? I can't tell if that is a 12" or 24" that you're demoing? or maybe inbetween?
@ShadowsReptilesАй бұрын
The height doesn’t really matter for torts, what matters is the height of the lamp really. This bin is probably around 18 inches tall

Just coming back on here to say.. I just bought a sulcata tortoise and made your diy enclosure! It looks great but cost me $110 it saved me alittle money. And also how can I raise the temp? Its 85degrees and how do I tell if humidity is enough
@ShadowsReptiles3 жыл бұрын
There’s thermometers that come with a humidity gauge, those are the ones I use. With the sphagnum moss and misting once a day it’s more than enough but in dryer climates you may need to mist more. You may also need to cover the top to not let humidity escape. Instead of having the mesh lid like I did cut a hole into the plastic lid for the light.

I haven’t had problems with moldy substrate, let your substrate dry out you don’t want it wet all the time. The thing you want to keep damp but not soaked is the sphagnum moss.
