I like that set up you got Dave it's great for kids an older Hunter bringing you a little My Buddy Heater and everybody stays warm and dry no matter what the weather which UPS the odds of harvesting animals of all kinds

Great video Dave! I did the same thing one time with a pulley and a rope hooked to the bumper of the truck.
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Yeah for sure man that would work to. That was our second option if the atv didn’t work. I would of done anything not to bring my truck back in there lol. 👊

Did it work...yes. However, that was probably the least safe way to raise that stand. You had that stand “teeter tottering” while you rushed to put in legs 3&4. It could have easily fell into you and the atv. It would have been much safer to install all 4 legs and then raise it. To have done that without heavy equipment would have used a block and tackle and those nearby trees.
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
It worked so that’s all that matters. Wasn’t anywhere near falling back toward the atv. Otherwise would have lowered it back down.1000 ways to do it. This is what we chose!

I agree that was a very unsafe way to get that stand in the air you don't value your safety or your life

I was surprised that you apparently did not install cross braces on the 4 legs.

Didn’t come with them and didn’t need them.

Looks like I need to buy equipment to do this. I have no 4 wheeler or trailer. Just a 4wd pickup truck

Will you be primarily gun hunting out of this? The windows seem pretty narrow for a compound bow to get the angle you need.
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Mainly gun hunting. Or someone can use a cross bow. This is not a bow blind.

I would really like to see you set it up with out the use of ANY HEAVY EQUIPMENT,some of us don't have an atv with a winch . Should be titled with a little heavy equipment. But you did git-r-done.
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Well a atv isn’t heavy equipment lol. I’m sure there is a few ways to do it with out a atv but would need a lot of people and a pulley system. Thanks

There's no way I would ever buy the stand the leg setup is ridiculous. And dumb with no cross-bracing and the legs in the back or way too close together. It's very evident that this company only cares about producing cheap crap because the legs set up alone is a huge safety issue. when those legs get old high winds will break them right in half especially with no extra bracing safety first come on guys!!!
