Nice video. Questions - so I don’t have to install Fitbit? Can I install Google fit instead? Which is faster and more responsive and takes up less storage - fitbit or Google fit? My primary purpose for a smartwatch on the health side is step tracking. I don’t care about sleep tracking. Thx in advance.

Hi can you change the Fitbit exercise shortcut order on the pixel watch? I can't seem to find an option to change it on the app or on the watch. Thanks

Interestingly the "Connect to Google Fitbit account" does not appear on my Watch app between the "Connected" and "Watch Faces" sections of the Watch companion app screen. Are you using a Pixel phone as well? Mine is an Android 12 device, but not Pixel.

Hmm. Yes, I am using a Pixel 3a. You can manually go to your phones App Store and search for the Fitbit app and download it and should be able to follow the rest of the video.

I've been having trouble pairing it with a new phone, it just refusing to connect to the watch. Reset watch completely, its paired with my phone and when I hit log in, it opens the app automatically on my phone, yet refuses to pair. Tried deleting app on both phone and watch, still nothing. Tried clearing data and cache, nothing. Both apps are updated on both devices, and still nothing happens. Tried wifi on, wifi off, nothing. Not sure why it so difficult to pair. It was paired to my old phone, but refuses to pair fitbit to my new phone. I can log into my account, but I can't connect the pixel watch to the phone no matter what. Its disappointing to say the very least.

@@socksfromamazon915 I ended up resetting the watch entirely all over again. After repairing I went straight to the fitbit app and tried to re-pair the watch and it worked the second time around. Luckily it doesn't take too long to reset and re/pair the watch to the phone. Its just mostly annoying and slightly time consuming.

Same ...it won't even act like it's trying to pair..it automatically rejects the pairing
