The door handle is way too difficult to open. Mine is already jammed and won’t pivot or go loose when I pull down on it

mine didnt go from voice selection to app. It went to sd card check. made me reformat the sd card and then gets stuck checking for the sd card after....... I got a Extreme plus sd card with 256gbs so that shouldnt be the issue.. im so confused!

I have a couple concerns. Being black, how will it do in the heat? And how large of an SD Card can it handle?

The GoPro pretty much has always been black. There are plenty of others who've made videos on overheating so You can do a quick search for that on KZbin. Whoops. You forgot to guide through creating an account with GoPro...And it slams me to buy the premium version. When i hit no the app says something went wrong. Then it cant get back to the free version.... Maybe I shut everything off and reset, then uninstall the app, then re-instal;l the app, then try again, then delete cookies...I tried again and connected! Now it says to charge the battery beyond 10%. I honestly thought it meant my phone battery was too low. When I checked my phone, it was 80%! Ah... The CAMERA battery. When I struggled to get the friggin door to the battery open, The entire door just fell off... I have battery charging as I write this and hope the battery door isnt broken. Maybe sometime this week I'll get around to getting an update (before I can use it)... Thanks

What is the correct size for the SD card? We got a Sandisk Ultra SDXC UHS-I Card but it was too big to fit

I'm not even sure that it puts the update on the SD card, so I don't think that's the problem. If I think of something else I'll let you know because I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Can you edit and upload videos using your phone or do you have to tether to a computer?

You can download your footage to your phone and edit it on there, either in the GoPro Quik app or another editor if you have that. I do it all the time.

Depends on which Sandisk card but it shouldn't be a problem if it is the Sandisk Extreme but if you are using a card like the Ultra you will have a problem.

The camera does start up without an SD card. You just can't record.
