@StanleyOrchard4 жыл бұрын
lol Hey Scully! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I'm swamped these days! Been making my rounds checking out the fish around the Ferry in Port Aransas (that's the best place to see water conditions and what fish are hanging around here). Haven't seen much... but then just visiting that spot is half the fun!

Can I suggest that you do away with the electrical tape and use shrink tube where the mono links to the wire. Instead of using direct heat with a flame, boil up a kettle and shrink the tube with steam. It does not weaken the mono. Here in the UK we always use this shrink tube method. I make shark rigs with wire and mono using shrink tubing on all crimped joints. Have never lost a shark where the rig fails at the joints. Nice video by the way.
@StanleyOrchard2 жыл бұрын
Funny you say that; behind the scenes I was harassing my dad about the electrical tape. I tell you what the idea of using steam is great, I am definitely adapting that. Thank you for the insight sir!
