@@RofICopters what would happen if you used some of the gravitos (SP?) on the washer instead of the black whatchamacallit in the video? Wouldn't it just let the spring slide a little and thus not causing the spring sound?
@RofICopters2 жыл бұрын
They're ingredients are fundamentally different. Each has their own intended application. lubricating metal to metal surfaces isn't the same as plastic to plastic. It might get rid of the spring sound, but at a cost. The sound comes from the rough surface vibrating the spring enough to make sound. If you put in enough non-metallic lube to stop the sound, it could just gum up the workings. OR it'll just be a temporary fix as the lube goes away. turning over the washer without any lube at all will get rid of the spring sound.

I had RS3M 2020 for the longest time and I also bought the extra magnets. However, I was too lazy to install the magnets and don't want too strong of a magnet. This is the reason that I didn't like my RS3M 2020 over MeiLong 3M. Reason being that RS3M 2020 is a heavy cube. It requires those extra magnets. I finally installed the magnet after months. That makes the biggest difference. It's very stable now and I'm going to make it my main. Lesson learned: those extra magnets are required for this to be S-Tier cube. No, the extra magnets are not making it too strong.

Use weight 5 in core and drop 2 drops of lunar on the middle edge where you should turn 45° before that. Then take the upper layer, lift it up with your hand slightly above the edge piece and then scramble. If you can buy both weight 5 and a lunar (or better dnm 37) follow this. If not buy a weight 3 silicon based tube and and it to both the core and the center piece. My rs3m is set up with weight 3 on both core and pieces. It works perfect it's been months and I just lube 2 times.

Do a avg5, and analyse the solves in slomo You will find your weaknesses and then you gotta work on them! That should bring you sub 12 fairly fast =)

Anyways back to your question I think what the turn counter thing does is that it is the same as using a screwdriver (lowest = very loose, highest = very stable) but it doesn’t actually make the cube looser, it just feels looser. So basically use the screw to make the cube tight or loose, then use the spring system to adjust the feeling of the cube. this is just what I think it is I’m not 100% sure just go watch a video about this for more accurate answer
