we are using the Roland HF-740. a rather old but most reliable machine, we also have a couple of XT 640 machines, but colors are not consistent, wondering if this is a color curve issue? what type of RIP softwares are reccomended in 2021? thxs

Lack of color consistency is a known problem with the Roland printers. Nothing to do with the RIP but the machine in it self. If you print the same ripped file a few hours apart the color will differ. Annoying as hell. Temperature and humidity will impact the prints color but this issue is consistent even att consistent temperature and humidity.

I'm sorry this is a machine I am not familiar with. We currently use Versaworks for Roland machines

im using wasatch software, and printing with sublimation inks, but we consistently face the problem of the inks not outputting the same colors, some colors tend to change within a day of two, although minor, can be noticable and may cause clients to raise concerns, wondering if this is a common practice and if there was a way around it? thxs

I would run some test prints off and leave them for a few days to monitor the colour change, then you could make adjustments to the colour to match your clients needs
