I have a couple of questions, changing the head the only parameter to be replaced in the series machine is no more head or calibrations within the system so that the equipment is functioning properly, again thanks for the video

if you want to reset the head shot counts you need to get inside the system via service mode and getting inside you need to have the password and pw is limited only for engineers and technicians

Hello STEVEN . I have an XF 640 Roland. I'm having trouble printing. Print test, print, blue head. There are only blue streaks, and the color is scattered outside the print area. Can anyone please suggest anything?

Thanks for your video that help us a lots, but after replace the Printhead we’ve found there are 2 rubber rings come out from somewhere and we can’t find out where supposed to be, and we powerful clean it after replacing the Printhead and not able to print at all, so we doubt those 2 rubber rings probably are important parts, but we can’t figure out where they are, please help, thanks

power on main power switch, then press down, right, left, up, right, down, left. Then hold 3 button: left, down, right and press sub power button. You will getin Service mode

I hear from Roland staff said, it is have to replace mainboard to change inktype from CMYK to use metallic ink. But you could try: go to Service mod>Service Menu>Sub Menu>Change Ink Type> from MAX 4 change to MAX WMT

Hi, I have a versacamm vs540, and it's making a weird thing, when I command it to print, it just move the carriage like it's printing but doesn't print, even when I sent to a print test. The head print is OK cause I can clean it and I can see ink come out. What could it be the problem?

The same with vs-640. If you not replace dampers no need to close the choke valve. If replace printhead and dampers you have to close the choke valve

Sir, where is choke valve located? I want to check the damper and print head because the cleaning solution is leaking and 5 out of 7 colors are not printing, only the magenta and black does. The other colors do not print. I have VS-640i. Thank you.

Did you do a powerfull clean after changed printhead? Remember check the ink choke valve

The code is not important. If the ink not came out the problem is: maybe the choke valve still closed, damper, or pump motor

it doesnt make any difference even if you dont change the head rank but you need to reset the head shot count to zero

You have to change head rank to make print head eject ink correctly. Head rank printed on small sticker on the side of print head

Steven Pham ok i'll try. By the way. do you know why after cleaning head become owful? i have to make 3 powercleaning to turn it well. I tried to turn aftercleaning off but it's impossible. I think it's firware issue. So a lot of ink wasted due to that.

First, when doing powerful clean, you should look at ink waste and see does ink waste come out? - If not that mean the print head cap it not tight and no pressure to suck ink out. You should clean the print head surface and cap - If yes, you should wait 5 minute before do print check (some time do many powerful clean, the pressure in ink cartridge make ink come back from printhead to damper)
