Hi, thanks for the awesome video! It was easy to follow! I had a question for you. I started the processes of setting up my profile but half way through I had to leave. When I went back I am unable to get to the setup profile screens. Do you know how I can view it again to edit the details after the initial setup. I want to fix things like areas you serve, service categories, and especially hours of operations because they seem to be a different time zone. Thanks again!

Yes, get into your Google Business Profile management window and click “Edit Profile”. From there you can change all of the business details including device areas, hours, and more. Hope that helps!!

Hi, I have had issues with Video verification. I am seeing that 2-3 min is the sweet spot. Less than 5 for sure. For a realtor that does not have a brick and morter- Using your home office is fine? And what do you need for the video. Street Signs, address outside home, business cards and license with same address? Anything else that has to be in the video? Any guidance is appreciated. I did hear that 3-5 min is the sweet spot for video per Google.

I'm finding that under to minutes is best and have trouble uploading anything longer than that. The main thing that Google wants to see if your street signs, the numbers on the front of the building, using a key to enter is great, and a document of some sorts that shows your business name and address.

So I had my google business verified then suspended. It was based on address. It wanted me to show a bill. I don't have that. What do I do?

Curious... did you use your home address to verify or was it a business address? Use this form to submit a ticket. That SHOULD get you unsuspended. support.google.com/business/gethelp? If not, you may have to start a whole new Google Business Page :(

That seems to be the normal verification mode these days. The last 5 GBPs I’ve setup required a verification video. The process of doing the video was easy and I staged the items google wanted beforehand. I did have one hiccup with the verification video yesterday where it wound not upload and after 5 attempts (and a half hour wasted) I gave up and put in a support ticket. No word from google yet though. Give the verification video a shot and let me know if it worked!

Street signs (I had to walk fast), the outside of the building and the address on the outside, your business license, any business cards, etc. ideally 2 minutes is what google says it should be. Hard to do all of that in 2 minutes!

I have a brick and mortar brokerage but I don’t go there very much. I’d rather use my home but I don’t want it to show to the public. Is that possible? Also, I have a website and in order to have a website I have to use my brokerage address. Suggestions?

It's tricky... If you want to showup on maps, you have to have an actual address. My advice is to use your brokerage address even if you don't go there very often. That way your address on your Google Business matches the address on your website, Zillow, Realtor.com, and everywhere else. That Name, Address, Phone is important for ranking.
