Who am I?
I am a currently enrolled college student who is studying Computer Science with a strong interest in Game Design and Development. Ay thanks for the tutorial :) Is there any way you can implement an interact dot in this hud tutorial? I wanted to make one where the interact dot is half visible and when the character points at an interactable object it becomes fully visible and maybe gets bigger a bit, do you think you could teach us how to do that? Why is it better to initialize the HUD using a HUD class as opposed to initializing it on the character?

In the hud, or player controller the widgets will last the entire game and can be reusable. On the character it gets destroyed, which for something simple isn’t a big issue, but can become more of a headache with more stuff. However, both can be used.

I believe you explained it yourself; add a delay node just before you set the visibility of your hud. However, sometimes stuff can potentially mess up when adding delays to widgets, so just play around with it.
