I can’t tell you how much I have learned from your videos. I just got into traditional archery and wasn’t really aware of how much different it was compared to compound. With these videos I went from shooting a group the size of a large dinner plate at 20 yards to a small saucer. Also, was able to quiet my bow up before I started watching these videos. Thanks again and keep them coming

Copying a reply I made buried in here for folks to more easily see it right here: " Thanks Jeff!! Just got back from a Bushcraft Gathering up in Maine (Moose Ridge and Wilder Waters combined their gatherings this year). Thanks in part to you and your guidance (along with expert instruction from Arthur Haines over several years, plus some great tips from a talented young archer named Kaelin), I won the traditional archery competition, along with a cash prize that covered half the cost of my entire stay. Needless to say, I am immensely grateful, and was enthusiastically telling folks there about your channel... Keep up the outstanding material and positive attitude, people of all ages will likely find this channel helpful for years to come...

Best vid on tiller and a whole lot of other details. Better explanation than other so called “ olympians and pros. “

Great information. Only thing I found was to unstring the bow to adjust tiller bolts. I stripped the head of tiller bolts while it was strung. And yes the locking bolts were backed off. Thanks again for the video. very helpful ✝️🙏

Jeff, you do such a good job explaining how to set up the trad bows especially for newcomers into single string archery. You also shoot well and are a killer in the deer woods! Great job buddy from Michigan!

It really is, my shooting partner just got his this week and owns a lot of very high end custom bows and they’re going up for sale seriously, he’s shooting better than he ever has with his Hermit X10 they’re awesome bows no doubt!

Jeff. One more great info vid . Thanks a lot . The tiller, especially shooting 3 under is critical matter. I tried many different setups, but arrows flights were not clean. So I developed my own tiller measurements system. I you have to offer an email contact or something in order to be able to send you a short video, then you will see suggestions and let me know your valuable comments. Thanks from North Italy. ❤

Great video! But I will say I’ve ordered 2 tbows and both of mine came with the plastic strike plate along with the 3 shims just like a satori. Both of mine came with all the Allen keys and calf hair rest material to use for your shelf.

Wonderful and insightful no matter your tuning skills! Jeff. I would love to hear what your thoughts are on the Satori stock side plate module and it's thickness? Is it too thick with no shims?

Hey Jeff. I'm asking your opinion. I'm very intrigued by your impression of the Sanlida Hermit x10. I'm 6'3" I shoot a 33" arrow I have figgured out that I can shoot a 62" recurve without much stacking if the riser is short like 17" with longer limbs as opposed to a 19" riser with shorter limbs. If I shoot a 19" riser It has to be a 64" recurve or I hit the wall and its rough on my 58 yo shoulders. So I have been limited on the inexpensive bows. One bow I have is a 64" Southwest Archery Spyder XL. 50# and stacks to 58# but its right at the wall.... the other option I have is a 62" PSE 45# Shaman. 17" riser it stacks to 53# but its not really into the wall. So its more comfortable to shoot. I'm shooting a 33" Easton 340 Carbon Legacy with 100gr inserts and 170 gr 4 blade Zwickey Delta. Just to give you an idea of my set up. Thev340s work on both bows. My question after seeing your review on the x10 Hermit. I noted that you said the foam core carbon limbs are still soft... and there's no wall..since the bow is 60" ( which I'd really love to shoot instead of the cumbersome 64 and 62 inch totem poles) Do you think the 60" Hermit would work without hitting the wall with my gorilla arms?

Jeff, can I get your opinion on which Bow to buy the 3 Rivers Oberon Longbow or the two-piece Manderin Duck Devourer Longbow. What bow would you recommend?
@instinctiveaddictionarcher8998

Yes sir I’ve never shot the Devourer but the Oberon is a fantastic bow 100% I have two and love them.

Do you need to unstring the bow in order to adjust the tiller bolts? What kind of silencers do you have on the bow limbs?
@instinctiveaddictionarcher8998
@instinctiveaddictionarcher8998 5 ай бұрын
Great question and yes it is better to do your limb bolt adjustments with the bow unstrung especially with inexpensive risers that may not have tight tolerances in the limb bolt threads and bolts and I typically use Velcro on the limbs however the single most effective silencing method is wrapping the string bundles with yarn!

That’s actually a pretty easy one lol seriously out of all the bows I have my Sanlida Hermit X10 ILF 60” recurve is that one. It’s just flat out the most accurate and best feeling one of all without a doubt it’s my pick.
