@@TechSteve Except for how to set it up, since his is already set up! Mine has a 'Set up device' option, which will only let me choose to connect to my neighbours TV.. if I select speaker, it continues back to the start page as though I didn't do anything lol.

Hi Steven it's a great job and I am also using Google home but recently it was not working. If you plug in device, it's telling "Welcome to Google Home. To get started, download the Google Home app on a phone or tablet" but it's not connecting to any devices plz help me how to connect a device and one more thing if device idle 10 minutes automatically restarting and some times mute button below light showing Orange colour.kindly how to resolve my device issue.

You have to put in pairing mode, I think you hold down the top until you see orange lights. I haven’t setup one in a long time

Hi, Steve. Thank you for the video. However I got into a little trouble. When I was setting up my Google home, I was playing your video and your voice activated my google home voice set up. There's no google home tutorial steps appear on my phone like in your video. Before I know what happened, it shows all completed. I don't know how to set up my own voice now. I try many setting on google home account, but it seems it doesn't have this option. "More setting" option doesn't work. Please help...

Just say ok google call me then give it your name. You can retrain as well. Go to the app, open more settings, press voice match and then retrain again.

Can you do the setup process (downloading and installing the app) using a computer. My elderly parents are thinking of buying this but don't have a tablet or a smart phone, just a desktop PC.

+LazarusStirs I’m pretty sure you need a phone or tablet. If you have a device you can set it up for them or you go with the amazon Alexa instead because you can setup with any computer attached to WiFi. You can also go to alexa.amazon.com from Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Internet Explorer (10 or higher) on your Wi-Fi enabled computer. Options

You can install Bluestacks which is a Android Emulator. Install the google home app on that and ur ready to go!

I have a google speaker and want to set KZbin up as my default which I have done so below it it states it’s a free service available. I haven’t got a red subscription with KZbin by the way. I asked my Google speaker to play a song from KZbin and it still doesn’t play what should I do?

YES YOU CAN! Turn on our cell phone's hotspot and add that wifi signal to your Google Home through the app. Note that you will need to access the GH app via another device, or at least that is what my research has shown. i have no idea why people have being telling you "no" - all you're doing is using the wifi signal being broadcast from your phone as opposed to the one being broadcast from your home router.

Go set it up spmewhere else first because the phone needs to be put into direct wifi mode which wont allow you to hotspot during that time. Then after that you can change the wifi on the Home app.

Work accounts normally live on a Microsoft Exchange server, you would have to export the list into a csv file and import back into your phone to the main contact list.

It only needs your smart phone to install the information then it’s a stand alone device but it can send KZbin videos and more to a tv with a chrome cast.

That's only using the Home as you would any other Bluetooth speaker, that is use the Home for input, NOT output to other bluetooth speakers.
