Thanks for the great videos. I would like to watch the missing part 2 for building my NAS.

Thanks. I saw part 1 and part 3 but I cannot find Part 2. Was it uploaded already?

Can’t see part 2 either, perhaps an oversight.

Great explanations, really helped me to use the nas much more efficient. For synchronization jobs, I missed Qfiling that helps me so much to keep media data in place and up to date for others.

Great video - thank you so much for this one (and your previous others). Everytime I have to deal with backing up to AWS Glacier, I try and find your latest video - so thanks so much!!

What would be your ultimate qnap 4bay build for performance while still being quiet (less than 60dB)? What's the sweet spot in hardware(arm, smaller volume spinning hdd or all sdd nvme2), and are there any good black friday deals coming up?

Awesome work, I see in your playlist for QNAP Setup guide series has some hidden videos. Would love to have a look at them, keep up the good videos

Hi Bud! I'm squeezing the tutorial vids between other content (cannot publish more without the algorithm hurting the channel!). But if you become a YT member, you can watch them all now (even if you join, then immediately bail after watching them. Alternatively, the kofi and patreon nascompares pages have all the links too posted over the last 2 months and costs less too. Hope you are finding these guides helpful bud and thanks for watching.

@@nascompares QNAP Setup Part 2 is missing??

Real helpful videos, I seem to be a week ahead of setting things up before these drop! I’ve setup my NAS to backup locally via USB to a dedicated TR-004, I want it to backup once a week and setup HBS to do it (the backups seem to be incremental which is great). My only issue is HBS will unmount the drive once completed but there doesn’t seem to be any way of automatically re-mounting the drive before the net backup, meaning I’ll need to leave the TR-004 spun up all the time which i was hoping to avoid. Are there any options for this? I come from an editing background so we would often use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone every few hours and it would mount/unmount automatically which was great.

Can you review new QNAP NetBak PC Agent for making an actual backup of the computer onto a NAS?

Hi Robbie, will the Linkreal product video be released later (before Computex 2024)?
@nascompares7 ай бұрын
Hi Silvia. The Linkreal video (the Silverstone/icy dock tower build collaboration video) is still in production and taking longer than expected. I'll fire you and email shortly to detail this. Apologies for the delays in my response.

Have you ever thought of filming in 1080p24? I notice the video is in 1080p60 which is fine. But when I play at faster speed on my Roku the quality gets dropped to 480p 😔. Content which is marked as 1080p, which I assume is 1080p24 doesn't have that problem.

Is there a simple and secure way to access a folder on your NAS without using this horrible qnap account which limits the transfer rate and tells you that it's not a file transfer tool?
