At 1:16 you have the Google Tag setup. I don't have that option. Is it because I am using the native Google Shopify App which now bypasses GTM? So do I only need to add the event snippet to the additional scripts in Settings > Order Status Page?

You can press Done and back to Conversions > Summary, press on your created conversion and there you will see 'Tag setup' at the bottom

bro i am doing this now in 2024 and i find that most of the things changed am i right. like gtag is not showing in theme liquid but when i scan my website for tag through g4 analytics. it shows it is present. and the event snippet for shopify additional scrips is also changed. please correct me

Can you provide an update on this video using customer events instead of custom script? When I tried to add the custom scripts under "Checkout", Shopify has this message: Order status page additional scripts (Deprecated) Order status page is now customized using customer events and apps configured in the editor. You can revert to use deprecated additional scripts temporarily.
