Hello Sir. I have followed your instructios (I use windows 10) but I have not been able to setup the IP address in my Compactlogix L30ER. Maybe is because you use a different version of windows? I just dont see the option Network and Sharing Center/local area connection. When I ping the pc shows: Request time out. Do you have any suggestions? Do you offer advice/tutoring on Allen Bradley? I appreciate your comments.

You should be able to locate "Network and Sharing Center" in the ""Control Panel" window. If your computer is like mine, it should be on the left and the fifth one from top. It might show up differently on windows 10. After connecting the PLC to your computer, you should look for and click on "Ethernet" at "connections". It is under "Access type: No Internet access". Being a channel member with a very minimal subscription fee of $6.99 a month is a practical way for you to show your support to my channel. Of course I still answer/reply to all comments even if you do not want to join in. It is just a quicker and more detailed response for channel members.
