Resonance between RF and the magnet of the phone receiver. They may have changed the frequency slightly to remedy that. You were actually hearing the signal code in that resonance, hence the morseish tapping pattern in the buzzing. It's actually computer code you are hearing when that happens.

Hey James, I use the RODECaster Pro and love this piece of Aussie tech! My tip for people who buy one is to use the cable connect where possible - I have found that it provides superior sound quality to the Bluetooth option. That said, if the TRRS channel is being used for something else (e.g. external music source), BT is more than adequate.

Excellent presentation on point, our friend has the Roadcaster and loves it very much especially with the feature that he can hold an interview via his cellphone. Next year we will purchase a unit and broadcast from our company and interview the many spanish artist in NYC. Good tip's for using a cellphone as well to hold an interview and the broadcasting program is populer here in the USA as well.

Hi James! I enjoyed this video. I have a LIVE radio show on LIVE 365 and I have asked a friend of mine to join my show as second chair. He lives in the UK and I am in the states. My show goes through SAM BROADCASTER PRO. Which style of call in setup would you suggest? Could I use just the cell phone method held up to my mic or is there another method you would suggest. I don't have the money to buy a lot of expensive equipment just so people can hear his voice along with mine on my show. Thanks for your time. Keep on ROCKIN'! \m/

As far as I know there is no way to connect your phone directly through your laptop/computer. There are cheaper options out there when it comes to audio interfaces (check out the Focusrite Scarlett series). However, by far the cheapest option here is holding your phone up to the mic! 🎙️📲

Oh and as far as that sound it would happen before the person's phone started ringing and sometimes boob tube TVs would make that sound even if the power was off. @lostgeordielad2 жыл бұрын
@@heyletsplay8579 Yeah... coz those songs are someone else's property. Using them without permission is copyright infringement. Pro radio stations have to submit playlists and pay a mechanical royalty to each artist for every play of a given piece of music. Having had one of my own songs used by Polygram in a movie... which I still haven't received anything for... I'm a strong supporter of copyright law... and a victim of copyright theft. So... your use of the "injured" emoji is 100% inappropriate. You have to pay!
