Hi, great video. But at 5:40 you show how to measure our monitor. I am a bit confuse since what it is need for from left to right ? In calculator tools, isn't the diagonal we need to enter, so, 27, 32, 34, depending ?

Hi there, thank you for the comment. This is for completeness. When inputting the settings into different sims they use this metric. This is not the diagonal. The diagonal is used in the FOV calculator, yes. Hope that clears things up for you 👍🏻

You are very welcome! Oooof, it's a tough one. Don't have a favourite as they all do something better than the other I feel. For online competitive play iRacing is fantastic. For the feel of the drive I really think AMS2 is coming along amazingly well with all of the constant updates they are doing. I think the Porsche drive really nicely in this one and you can feel the back end come out. I need to devote a bit more time to AC to unlock everything it has to offer I feel. How about yourself?

@@TraumaTeamRacing Thanks you your reply, I agree with you on I racing and AMS2 I have a DD2 and have better feeling with I racing and AMS2 and less road feeling with ACC for AC it is hit or miss, Check out my it has 6 DOF motion and it does give you good feeling of sway but when disconnected from road feel makes it difficult to stay consistent. I am struggling a little with the new profiles for fanatec. let me know what you think of my, if you have a chance?

The feeling of AMS2 is the best I think. Although I did think ACC was pretty good though. Your rig is insane🤣 How long did it take you to set that up? How much does a motion rig go for? Have you ever had any issue with the monitors with all the movement?

Please do one of these for PC2 (since PC3 was so bad). I am running nvidia surround with bezel correction, so I assume with triple screen spanning I do 0 on bezels, BUT for the width and height of the monitor is that with or without bezels? I would think it's including bezels since you are asked what the bezel width is. Any advice?

I've done all the steps and when I try to change the resolution in game to my triple screen resolution, its not there. The max resolution in game is 1920x1080. My triples are at 5883x1080. I’m also have me monitors set up so I have my main/primary one on its own and then the triples separate.

If your monitors aren't all the same, or refresh rate is different or you mix using DP and HDMI for some, this could cause the issue perhaps.

@briantang2 It should work. Perhaps check the integrity of your install with Steam. Very difficult to help without being at your system.

@@latedriver9019 yea, all I had to do was going into window settings, display, and then changing the primary display to my triples. After that dirt 2.0 would launch on the triples

So after setting everything up and working perfectly I now notice after a couple of days and a couple of reboots that I have to set up Nvidia Surround every damn time I turn my pc back on and I isn't without a struggle. 2 problems I have where I'm wondering if maybe you have a solution for this. 1: Nvidia Surround keeps resetting or deactivating after reboot and need to setup everything from scratch again. (pretty annoying if you got limited time to race and have to spend up to 15 minutes sometimes before it works properly) Is there a way to keep these settings saved and activate them by switch/button? 2: when correcting the bezels (which I have to do everytime) It also has the annoying bug that when I move the right bezel, the left one also moves with it. Sometimes It does this and sometimes it doesn't and it's driving me insane.. Are you also running into these problems and have you found a work around/solution to make this process a bit smoother? It's day 4 now and It's already driving me to insanity.

1. Not run into this. NVIDIA remembers what I've set it to when booting up. Are you running the latest drivers? 2. There is a box to click to the right of the correction boxes that will uncouple them. Hope that helps👍🏻

Imagine a straight line from the 2 top corners of the monitor and measure as for a flat monitor. Then continue to measure as normal. Hope that helps.

I am not an expert on graphics cards but the cost of the 3000 generation has come down considerably. I would get the highest that your budget allows. Dirt rally is quite power hungry but you can always tweak things down graphically to get it to run for you.

Of course, I will add it to the list. I'll have to wait until there is a sale to buy it though as I have resisted so far as I previously already owned F1 2020 and 2021. The triple support is notoriously bad for these games.
