Yes, unfortunately I did send it. Can I send a second 1099 with just the amount that was not included in the first 1099?

Hi how do I put payments in quickbooks I have given a 1099 Person. Do I have to enter it as a bill? Or I just get it from my checking at web download information? I'm so confused on this.

I 1099 one vendor but only half of his pay was calculated because of the way QB's set it up, so can I 1099 him a second time.

You do not need to obtain an EIN number for an LLC which is a disregarded entity. You simply use the social security number and the person's name instead of the business name. There is no law that says a disregarded entity LLC must obtain an EIN, quite the contrary. The IRS specifically states that an EIN is not required for a disregarded entity LLC. And if a person is filing their taxes as a disregarded entity, they will be using their own name.

I am receiving W9s that are the reserve of this example. Individual Name on Line 1 of the W9, Company Name on Line 2. Would I then put the Individuals Name in the Company Field in Quickbooks? Reverse of this example.

The W9 form is the data they are providing for you to add the details in QuickBooks software. The key is to review your 1099 forms to make sure it’s printing the details where you need them.

It's because she entered it wrong. The person's name (if they are using that on their tax return) goes on the top line, then the LLC name would go on the second line. I will use Sam's Club as an example. Their name for the top line would be Sam's West, Inc., their name on the second line would be Sam's Club. So they are Sam's West, Inc. dba Sam's Club, the second line is for the DBA. If they are sending in a W-9 with a social security number rather than an EIN then their name will go on the first line because that's the line where you put the information that goes on your tax return and if you are filing under your social security number rather than an EIN it HAS to be your name. The business name in that instance would go on the second line.
