Hi. I have a 2nd hand premium sound bar 2000 (what it says on the box) and a sub woofer, but can’t get them connected. The radio works, but can’t tune it. It won’t reset back to default - tried everything. Bluetooth connects but nothing else. Can you help?

I'm affraid I can't. I don't even know what is apremium sound bar 2000. I don't believe it's a Sonos device.

Hi, I have 13 Sonos components. The Arc, the sub, 2 beams, 5 SL ones, 2 Moves, a port, and the boost. I purchased the boost because I was having connectivity issues. Well I’m still having them. When I spoke to a Sonos representative he stated I had to many components connected to my boost. They recommend only 5 speakers be connected to a boost and I probably should purchase another boost. That makes no sense to me that the boost can only handle 5 speakers. I’m having multiple issues at different times. When trying to play music on multiple speakers some speakers will cut in and out. When streaming music from Pandora and or Amazon music the same, speaker cuts in and out. My moves will go into sleep mode and unable to get out. The app will say sleep mode so I will turn on the Bluetooth (to wake up) play music with Bluetooth and try to switch back to Wi-Fi but app still says sleep mode. But sometimes the speaker will still play music even though the app says sleep mode. I’ve spent to much money on this system to be having this many issues. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

for anyone having issues connecting wireless (device not found), I had to set my multiple devices one by one connecting them to router then setting up a wireless connection in sonos settings.

Hi Chris. Yes this is the right way to make sonos work. Few years ago, that was the only way to setup sonos.

Hi How To, it's probably not possible to use WiFi instead of Bluetooth to transmit audio signal from TV/Projector to Sonos sound bar, right? (without using any other audio wires)

Hi Arturas. Negative. You can't for video sources. The only way is to use a cable. And I have to say, it's a good thing. Sonos only work with efficiant method for wireless. And transmit the audio of a video wirelessly never work fine from my experience.

Great video!! I’m new to the Sonos Community and was wondering if anyone knows why when I’m using the google assistant to operate my Sonos it will say “Sorry, Sonos unable to connect network or not able to connect to Spotify”. Will using this Sonos Boost correct this issue?

Hi, I am suppose to be setting up some sonos speakers on Friday for some customers for my small business and they want to hang them up since they own one of those airbnb small condos. They have one of the sonos that you plug into the wall,but I highly doubt they are outdoor speakers and he wants them hung under a patio. What would be the best solution to hang these and set this up right??

Well, Only one model is outdoor. But most are humidity resistant. So if it's not raining on it, you should be fine. There is the sonos move that is a realy and easy outdoor solution for a week-end. This one : geni.us/SonosMove Otherwise the real solution for outdoor speaker involve wiring in wall. I don't think it's what you want. You will then have to sync all of those speaker like on this setup video.

Hi Raffiki! I'm not sure to understand what you want to do. You would use all of your play5 as a suround system? I dont think that is possible. The closest thing that I have done is in that video : kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJvFZpWkfpyEnac But this one use a connect amp for front and play1 as surround. Maybe that would be possible if you have separate front speaker for your connect.

Hi Ons Garment! In fact what happen as soon as you have a Sub or a 5.1 device, you need at least one Sonos device to be connected to a network cable. But that device does not even need to be in that room. So yes you can connect only the Arc, but you could also use a device like this one geni.us/SonosBoost You can connect it close to your router and give a powerful signal to all of your Sonos devices. Use a wire for the first device. Sonos work so much better when you have a wired device. If your router is to far from a device you can use a boost like this one. geni.us/SonosBoost Is you sonos Amp brand new?

Hi. this weekend I bought the Sonos Beam and a Sonos play, I connected them together but it seemed that they did not work properly, there was a difference in the volume. Yesterday I went and bought another Sonos Play to have the pair and make surround sound with the beam and two Play, but I can not configure the three speakers together, there is an option to remove the speakers from my account and to configure them again. Thank you

You must go in the room setting to add surround and select you two player.

I got a new WIFI and router. I can't access the advanced settings in the Sonos App. I deleted and uploaded the app again and I still can't setting the app to my network. therefore I can't sync my Iphone to my Sonos beam. I need your help and advice. The app goes right to: set up a new sonos system or connect to an existing system. Either way it won't work. I do see other options tab to link the app to my network. What the hell did I do wrong? I'm getting very frustrated. Please Help!!!!!!!!

Hello Anthony, you only have to take a wire between your router and one of your sonos device to make the new wi-fi setup again.

I have 2 sono sl and a sub gen3, i also have the new arc on order. But for now i cant even setup my 2 sl as stereo. One is conected but when i go through the process of connecting the second one i get an error msg saying,” there was a problem verifying your sonos app”. Error code 404. I cant seem to get past this.

Might purchase the boost to see if it solves it, maybe its an issue with my mesh wifi. I have an orbi mesh system conected to my internet modem.

Usualy when you connect a first device everything is fine. However if you have a big house and not to much devices, you may need more wired devices. But the Boost give a real strong signal.

Most of my video are straight to the point. Solve your problem under a minute and sometime under 30 seconds. But setting up a sonos system is something that can't be done in that range of time and I sincerly don't understand why some people can need help to setup a Sonos system. It is so simple and all you have to do is following the instruction on the screen. But, I made that video for people who would like to have more support in the operation. What is you interogation? Maybe I can make an other video for you?

Hi Benji, Well Sonos is one of the most simple product to configure. I was wonderring if there will be any view on this video when I made it. Basically you just go on the app and do what they ask on it.
