2:08 Don't use petroleum products on rubber o-rings, they swell up and damage the o-rings. Use pure silicone grease for o-rings. You can get it at HD or Lowes. It's called plumbers grease. Super Lube is also silicone grease and you can get it at Harbor Freight.

I think I have the same model as you, it came with a bottle that you can put soap in. But when I use it, it comes out super weak. How do I make it so it shoots out powerfully?

Hi zkdr, the bottle that comes with the unit is kind of garbage. It’s not meant to have a strong stream coming out of it. It just helps dispense some mildly soapy water or maybe a mold inhibiting chemical. You may be looking for what a foam cannon does.

Nice video 👍. ? Can you connect high pressure 3000 psi to inside electric outlets of your home. Without blowing a fuse or blowing out fuse box. Say 13-14 amps of power. I believe. Looking to purchase a Ryobi electric high power washer. My outside electric outlets are not working. Also do these electric washers get hot after many hrs of usage. I can't say from personal experience but most household outlets are 15 amp circuits. So if nothing else is using that circuit, then it won't blow. My pressure washer does get hot down here in Houston but I would say it's built for it. It's never so hot that I can't touch it. Seems to dissipate the heat well.

@DJ Mia Most homes in the U.S. are wired with a combination of 15-amp and 20-amp, 120-volt circuits. Because 15-amp receptacles can be used with 20-amp circuits, most of the outlets you see in American homes are the standard 15-amp variety, with two slots and a U-shaped grounding hole. I think all the electric pressure washers come with the gfci power cord as surge protection. It should be safe and compatible

How do you remove the wand? It has to be so simple but I can't get it off! It says to pull before twist which I do and twist forever and nothing - It wont come off.

twist and then pull. It should only be a quarter turn twist, then pull, or you may have stripped it out.

After owning a swimming pool business for 8 years, the number ONE thing we tell any and all customers when lubricating their O-rings that are used to seal in or out water is... NEVER EVER EVER!!! USE Vaseline to lubricate your O-rings. It eats away at them. Use a lubricant designated for constant water pressure. My personal favorite is BOSS lube, there's also Aladdin as well as many small company owned personal brands. But 100% hands down, NEVER USE VASELINE to lubricate your O-rings! Trust ME people! Plz! This is the difference between someone figuring things out themselves without guidance (which I can greatly appreciate! I love the drive. However...) VS someone trained in the field. I'm sorry dude, but plz research what I'm saying cuz this is extremely important. Good luck everyone.

Hey Melissa, in my experience there might be a leak some where or not enough water pressure from your hose. When the pressure washer senses a drop in pressure (like when you squeeze the trigger) the motor kicks on. There’s also a possibility that the sensor is faulty. Mine was doing that one time, but I just realized I had accidentally created a kink in the hose from my faucet.

Put a multi connection on the water valve. Put a short hose to a quick connect and 1 on the inlet of the washer.. Also quick connects to the outlet side and gun... Your making a project out of it for no reason..

I'm sorry but I really believe you should take this video down and redo it based on how many times you refer back to your "PRO-TIP" to use petroleum jelly to lubricate any O-rings. This isn't just based off of my knowledge, a Pro... But the absolute first thing that comes up when you Google "should I use petroleum jelly to lubricate my o-rings?"
