UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust kzbin.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I use 2 of the same Chemical Guys mitts w/ the 2 bucket method. Mitt #1 is in this order. Roof, windshield, hood, windows and the top half of the body panels. Mitt #2 is front grill and bumper panel, rear windshield, trunk lid, lower half of the side body panels, then rear bumper. Never use them on the wheels or exhaust tips. The Mitts are AMAZING at picking up contaminates ... actually too good. So even with the 2 bucket method you won't fully remove the worst grime until you machine wash them. That is why using 2 and taking a bit more time will really help with accidently bringing more grime from the dirtiest areas to the cleaner ones.

When you pressure wash FIRST, you're using high pressure to push the dirt and debris into and all over your paint! Not good! You should use the foam cannon FIRST, let it dwell (sit), THEN use the pressure washer to remove all the dirt and debris. The foam will both loosen up the dirt and act as a lubricant to move the dirt off the vehicle as you pressure wash it off. THEN, foam cannon a second time, then wash as you normally would. By using the foam cannon FIRST and then pressure washing, you're actually removing 80-90 percent of the debris.
@lebojay2 ай бұрын
The best solution is to rinse first with low pressure.
@AutoHeadz2 ай бұрын
@lebojay That’s correct. The higher the GPM the better.
@bobbybarnes16522 ай бұрын
@@lebojay Yes, but the foam cannon puts soap all over the vehicle, which breaks up the grit and grime stuck to the car. If you simply try to rinse with low pressure, you're STILL going to leave some of that gunk on the vehicle. Think of the vehicle as a frying pan that's been used to make something, then tossed into the sink and allowed to dry full of food and such. If you pre-soak it with soap, you're going to loosen up all the crap before you wash it. If you simply rinse it with water, you're still going to have most of that food stuck to the pan. The foam cannon is basically pre-treating your car to help get all the dirt and debris off of it BEFORE you use pressure or contact.
@bobbybarnes16522 ай бұрын
@@lebojay Using a foam cannon to pre-treat and break up the dirt and debris BEFORE using low pressure to rinse that away is the best solution. Water alone will not do it. As for the last comment from @Autoheadz, pressure is NOT measured in GPM. Pressure is measured in PSI. Flow is measured in GPM. You want lower pressure (1800 psi MAX) and as much flow as you can get -- I say 2.0 GPM at minimum.
@AutoHeadz2 ай бұрын
Two statements. Low pressure is good for pre rinse. Low pressure nozzles (larger orrifice) have a higher GPM. These are the steps in case anyone needs them. 1. Clean wheels and tires first 2. If paint is hot. Pre rinse with a 40-60 degree nozzle starting from the top down. 3. If paint is not hot spray with foam cannon and let dwell for 3-5 minutes. 4. Rinse off with 40-60 degree nozzle 5. Foam cannon again one side at a time and going for contact wash with 2 bucket method moving the mitt in straight lines. 6. Rinse off cleaned side. 7. Repeat on all side of car 8. Use drying towel with quick detailer spray to dry all sides again moving in straight lines no swirls.
@thepiecesfit50497 ай бұрын
I prefer to foam side to side, like spray painting starting from the bottom to the top. Gives more time for the soap to dwell on the dirtiest part of the vehicle, the bottom.

Yeah man it’s a tip I learned from a professional detailer. Using a garden hose/no washer tip is a way to get the soap off the car without leaving water spots. Using a pressure washer impregnates the water with a bunch of air which causes a ton of tiny water beads to sit on the paint. It’s just a way to cut down on the dry time and prevent spots. Hope that helps.

Mr. Pink is designed to be used in ALL weather. It’s unique because you can use it in DIRECT sunlight without worrying about sun spots. It has a slickness to it that allows it to not dry as quick as other soaps, almost like a built in detailer feel to the soap.

@AutoHeadz3 жыл бұрын
Iv never tried this myself. The only issue I could see is that there may be too much pressure at the car wash, but it is absolutely possible. I would try out the adapter and see if that works. It’s going to be one of those things you may have to play with a little to figure out. Start with getting the foam cannon and take a look at the fittings on the pressure washer. You should be able to tell if there is a quick disconnect on the washer.
@aquarius80633 жыл бұрын
@@AutoHeadz Thanks for the info. The car wash owner is usually milling about so I don't want to get flak for unscrewing power washer wand to put foam canon on. Worst case scenario is that I use just water to power wash dust/dirt off and do my 2 bucket wash method. The 1.1 is great. It really makes the foam thick. Here is a link to the 1.1mm orifice amzn.to/3MBabHt What kind of pressure washer do you have?

Do you have to scrub it? Can i just apply the foam let it soak then wash it off?
@AutoHeadz2 жыл бұрын
Yes, and a lot of people do this as a “touch up” but if you don’t scrub you won’t really make it shine and remove all residue.

Do you need a special quick connect for the foam cannon? Or does that work with your stock sun joe?
@blackoutonyt13923 жыл бұрын
no it works stock

What size quick connect is on the end of the sun joe wand? 1/4 inch?

The key here guys is your power washer. The GPM output has to be 2.5gpm and up. This will give you the shaving cream foam everyone is looking for.
@RB66_2 жыл бұрын
Not true. You can use a 1.1 mm orifice in the foam cannon with a lower gpm pressure washer and it will make foam like when you shave your face.

Funny you mention that! Video drops this week that covers JUST THAT!

@@AutoHeadz Nice video bud. Very clear and direct. I'm just starting my upgrades of using a foam cannon for washing my truck , 2011 F150 Supercrew Ecoboost, still looks brand new with 95k miles. I definitely need a new power washer so I'm really considering the Sunjoe on your recommendation. Subscribed. Thanks for your video!

@@RB66_ Thank you Sir. I really appreciate the feedback. I think you will like the new one I’m making.

@@RB66_ uhhhhh, you are not true. A 3200psi 2.5gpm GAS pressure washer is ideal for the THICK foam cannon results along with the smaller orifice in the cannon tip. Anything else lower, especially with electric models will not be the true THICK foam you are striving to achieve. So whatever you think you are getting with your low setup now, just wait till you upgrade to a gas unit with the specs I've laid out here and then you'll see the difference.

When you power wash it with the soap do you keep the hose attached or do you turn it off
@AutoHeadz3 жыл бұрын
Yes. The hose is always attached. The water mixes with the soap.
