Try a zigzag stitch! It’s a good alternative to a serger if you only have a domestic machine

Loved your video! What needle and thread do you recommend? I have a Juki F300--it seems pretty powerful. I don't have a serger though--any workarounds?

The type of needle you need depends on the fabric you’re using, but I like to use Universal 90/10 needles. You can zigzag stitch instead of serge 🥰

What fabric did you use? I had ordered some waterproof cushion covers (to avoid getting the foam wet/mildew-y) but they trap body heat, and the cushions don’t compress well since air can’t flow or escape 🙃 Awesome video, thanks for the tutorial!

I used a deadstock Carhartt fabric and it worked really well!! The only thing is that they color is sunbleached now, but ultimately it’s held up well and is really comfortable 🤗
