What a great project! I just made one for my husband for all of the remotes, notepads, pens, papers that he needs to review, glasses, etc., etc. that he keeps on the end table by his recliner. The divided caddy went together really quickly. I hadn't used your T method before but I really like it! I need to set these up like an assembly line and sew a bunch together. I see a lot of uses for this awesome divided caddy. Thank you so much!

WOW, what a nifty idea. Thanks for this Andrea. I'm thinking this would be good for my camera, it's charging dock, ereader charger and other cords that are all dumped in one messy tangle in an ugly plastic basket. Would sort things out nicely and look nice up on the TV cabinet (yes, we still have one of those!).

Could I use stabilizer on the exterior panels?
@papercents5 жыл бұрын
After I made my 1st one & saw my husband hooking his pens, pencils, tools, etc. to the outside, I opened up the top seam (between the handles only) where you sew the folded edges together & I put foam & sewed it in under one of the folds & then closed it back up with the topstitching. Worked like a charm!
@Sewspire5 жыл бұрын
Nice! Another option would be boning. Love that you improvised and that your husband was eager to put this to good use!

Brain yoga! Love it. I'm sure you are not aware some of your genius demos are cut off at the top of the video frame; moving closer to the center of the picture would give viewers a more complete experience.

Thanks Ellen! I did realize that and will do better next time. Glad you like the project though.

May i ask what you would use to stabilize it if you use a lighter fabric? I am new to sewing and there are so many options out there i am uncertain what to use. Thank you so much for the tutorials. I sent you a message on instagram about the caddy i sewed, first one ever. My stitches weren’t perfect but it was so much fun!!!
