I was a Savile Row tailor for many years and we never did that - we had to spend ages layering the seams, trimming and using something called a bodkin to turn them. I have never heard of this trick - 30 years later I have learned something new so thank you...! Xx

This is absolutely fantastic. I have a project that requires perfect points and didnt know how to do it but this was very helpful. Watched start to finish and it didnt feel like it took 7 minutes. My home ec teacher taught this way back in 1973! It made so much sense when one thinks about it. I'm surprised that everyone doesn't know this since I learned it in a tiny hick town! LOL But, then again, I realized what an excellent all-around education I had received from that small-town school when I went to college and those around me were struggling!
