How To SHARE your Mobile Cell Phone Internet Connection

Hi, this video shows you how to share your mobile cell phone's internet connection so other devices like laptops, iPods, games consoles and Smart TVs so they can connect to the internet via your phone's data connection.
It is really useful if your main broadband connection stops working in your property so you can still have access to the internet via your phone.
I show the 3 ways you can do this, via USB Tethering, WiFi Hotspot and Bluetooth Tethering.
Please make sure you have a lot of data included on your mobile phone monthly plan as if you only have 500MB then you will quickly run out. Some people have unlimited data but the phone companies may cap USB tethering/Hotspot or not include it at all. On my phone I currently have 25GB which is 50 times more than 500MB (1000MB= 1GB) and I can use it for anything so check before you use this as if you go over your data allowance it can work out very expensive especially when using Roaming in another country.

Are you using the phone hotspot data plan minutes because when I reach my hotspot plan minutes my ISP throttle me to 100kbps or you using the cellular mobile data minutes?

Do you have a firewall on your PC, omg I hope you do.....firewalls have to have constant internet access to counteract the crazies trying to connect to your PC & give you malware & viruses & ransomware.....when I got free mcafees with my internet service provider in the first month over 2000 connections had tried to be made to my PC, which is normal, active, uglies.....

@@susangodwin5858 I've windows ten on a newer PC which is working just fine. I do run scans every now and then and have no trouble with my PC. I basically just use KZbin a bit of FB and watch the odd film here and there on Amazon Prime which is crap by the way lol. I'm sure my firewall is up as Windows 10 should have all that working. I will be switching from my internet provider though as they charge way to much so I might try running the net from my phone for a while. I personally don't think that just watching clips on KZbin, and having access to fb and prime video justifies the price I have to pay which is about 60 euro a month. And it's going up an extra 6 euros next month.. LOL, I just went on a rant.

Normally if you can't turn the USB on then it means that the USB is not connected so maybe check your USB lead on another device just in case the lead is faulty or see if you can import pictures from your phone to your tablet and then you know the data wires are working on the USB lead which may help you pin point the problem.
