I liked this set-up. Easy to make, & relatively cheap , PWR goes out , or out & about in the back country in your hide out , you can put a sharp edge on a blade!!! I carry a Nicholson File sometimes, when Iam out & about , just in case I need a sharper edge on a knife. Usually I have to tune up someone’s else’s blade!!! I might try to imbed a file in the wood base like this fellow did with sticking the sad paper on. Just find the right angle!!

Not bad, but there are many other ways to sharpen knives. But that depends on the volume of knives you have. I have hundreds, and use various sharpeners for different types. That being said, I don't use whetstone's very often.

Жуть! Сколько потрачено времени, материала. К тому же ещё и всякие инструменты нужны. У меня это происходит в 1000 раз быстрее. Беру наждачку, кладу на ровный стол или стул. Пару раз проводил, всё, режит лучше чем в этом ролике.

Click bait at best. Visit Lowe’s and buy a knife sharpener and get the angle correct and then keep that razor thin edge line up by using a butchers steel. Reference: I was a professional meat cutter at one time in my life.
