Hey brother I have watched a few of your videos and I believe you are on point as a barber and a sharpener , I am located in South Africa and I'm living Cape Town and I an having a hard time finding the scissor clamp that you are using, I love sharpening knives shears and other stuff on the bench grinder but I have a problem always on the point of my scissors and do you have any idea how and where can I find that clamp,

Hi bro. Thanks for your great helpful video and dropping knowledge for us. But I'm my area the one person who use to sharpen all of our barbers blades and shear's has retired. So I'm looking to take up on that ! So if started practice you methods without the wheel or even your other power sander.with lots of practice. Could I successfully sharpen to a professional level for clients. Doing it with the sand paper? I feel I really need to take up on this as I know most barbers in my area or the shop I work in now just throw away there scissors once they doll out. Also any other advice? With knife must do both sides. Knife angle can vary. 15 -25 degree maybe.

Most beauty salon sheer are sharpened on a 45° angle not 33 1/2

It depends on the shear. Like if it’s a premium shear or a regular flat edge shear. However if you doing it manually it really don’t matter cause you can’t set the angle anyway.
