HOW TO Shatter, Break and Smash the Hell Out of Objects in Maya! [ WITH NO PLUGINS! ]

This is the first of a three part mini series on how to shatter, fracture, break, smash and explode things all in Autodesk Maya with NO PLUGINS!
In this first short video I will teach you the different Maya shatter effect tool settings and different types of shatters. Surface shatter, Solid shatter and Crack shatter. We will also go over how to apply our own materials to the interior and important settings to get it all to work.
Once we know these important basics we can smash the hell out of things in the following two videos where we create animated dynamic cinematic shots of a car breaking through a wall, and an animation of an out of control airplane smashing into a bridge.
These tutorials are suitable for beginners, but you will need a very basic understanding of Maya, but give it a go!

@@AnimatorArtistLife Actually, I am a full-time professional rigger, and a FREELANCER and I have already done a lot of studio level rigging in blender, but now it time to the Maya, since it is an industrial level tool, and the demand for it is universal, You have been the most helpful to me for that.
