Dry Shaving has always irritated my skin. I quit shaving because of this. Nobody said to apply oil. I'm definitely gonna try!

It happened to me as well. It not only irritated my skin (tiny bumps and rashes) but I also got severe infection on my skin. So now I use layer of thick moisturizer (oil, face lotion for face and conditioner on body) makes shaving so so much easier

Just use alum on skin directly , dont rub harshly . It will irritate for less than 1minute , nd let it sit for 20 minutes or more if you can . Nd wash it with cold water . Or normal water . Nd use aloe vera + rose water . This helps me a lot.. I have big pores on cheeks .... now there were small ....

@@varshasingh2630 yeah u r right!! The only prblm is wen u move ur hand in opp direction it feels poky and irritated, but in case of rashes and bumps I tried boiled rice paste added with half tsp of milk for consistency!! And it worked well!
