Well, i don't shave anything " down below " , but i took care of my late wife. I used my old beard and mustache trimmer on her pubes for about 30 years. Kept em nice and short and neatly trimmed and shaped . I also shaved her bikini line ..yep she never had to do it , i did everything very well for her ...I miss her alot..thank you Dr. Jen ! I wish I had someone to help me with this. My mom was loving and present, but she didn’t discuss shaving or hair removal, ever. I received advice from friends and it was bad. I still have scarring from it. Nair, always a bad idea!

Good advice for those starting out, I totally agree! Nothing worse then pain when your training yourself to take the pube shave and walking around the next day pretending like nothing happened. 😮. I’ve learned about 20 years ago, if you shave with an oil; it will minimize the itching once the hair starts to grow back. This goes for armpits as well. Ex: extra-virgin olive oil, or extra-virgin coconut oil. What works for me may not work for you .❤️❤️

I shave using oil. It helps prevent any knicks while using a sharp razor and leaves that area very soft and moisturized. No need for a cream-just rinse and dry afterwards

I shave my pubes in the shower but I sit on the edge of the bath, whilst doing so. I find it safer for me. I’m a female aged 61. I think standing in the shower could be a bit dangerous. Yes, I always put warm water on that area first. Thanks Dr. Jen. I always enjoy your topics 🙏🏾
