Hi Daniel, I hope you're well. I understand the improved ability being able to add non-inventory and inventory items on the same doc, that great. I'm wondering about the delivery fee as an item instead of using the 'item charges' option and how this impacts cost/revenue compared... does having the delivery fee as an item on the same doc do the same? Sorry, not an accountant and feeling a little confused! thanks a lot. Cheers

@cherylokane2289, If delivery fees are set up as a non-inventory item that hits your desired GL accounts from a cost-tracking perspective, then there is no impact. It'll just impact the cost on the posting shipment right away rather than doing it as a charge item on a separate invoice.

Can you for example take orders for print materials and then print the materials to fill the orders without maintaining stock for the items. On the Sales order can you have only the "non-stock" items on the order?

Hello. Yes, you can set up a replenishment method for the print item to be "order" so that MRP will tell you to print it every time an order comes in. You can sell non-stock items for a price but I don't think they would have a cost.
