Wish I had bought some plywood a year ago and just saved it. Now that I'm doing home upgrades it's too expensive to use. Here I come laminate!!

Is there a reason you didn’t paint before hanging?
@stevenslaughter8473 Жыл бұрын
That’s my question too. Painting ceilings can be pretty drippy and can give you a stiff neck. Seems like prepainting would be the ticket. Might have a bit of touch-ups w the nailheads?

do you need to leave a gap between the ceiling boards?
@MrAlexander3362 жыл бұрын
why not remove the textured ceiling first? (to avoid installing shiplap on top of molded ceiling)

How many plywood boards did you need for the whole project?
@DIYdesignerduo4 жыл бұрын
A sheet of plywood covers 32 sq ft so you’d just need to find out how many sq foot your project is...

I would think they would warp because they were only sealed on one side ??

Looks good. But not sure I like wall and ceiling as shiplap

Covering drywall with these “boards” would only serve to hide any moisture in the wall.

Ugh this ceiling looks disgusting. I like shiplapped ceilings but that 8” oc t-111 on the ceiling just gives off crappy homeowner diy vibes

Ummm…Just asking for a friend…does it make sense to paint before putting the coding up? World just leave touch up after installing?
