The panoramic 35mm film camera is a coveted piece of photography equipment! Without the funding to afford one, you might feel like getting one is a pipe dream. However, if you have access to a a medium format camera and a 3d printer, you might just be able to convert one into a panoramic 35mm film camera!
In this video, I show off my method for turning my Mamiya RZ67 medium format film camera into a 35mm panoramic camera!

Wow, you are back and outside :) In the past I was tempted to get Mamiya, but ended up with Hasselblad 501, which would not give me such nice panoramas ;)

That's right! Back out and breathing fresh air again! Haha! Oh, I would love to get my hands on a Hasselblad! The Mamiya is great, but it's HUGE in comparison!

Great video, thanks! I'm definitely trying this. As I'm typing this I'm looking at a Horseman film back to see how I can make it work 😊.

Thank you! And yeah, I highly recommend trying this out! How long would a 35mm be on the back of a 4x5??

@@JudeStreicherPhoto I loaded film into my 6x9 horseman back this afternoon so I'll get out tomorrow to take a few pics. A 6x12 back would be fun to put 35mm film into! Dear Santa.........

Great job there Jude, on your Panoramic conversion. Loved the results. Just picked up some FP4. Hope I get as nice results as you did. No pano shots though👍👍.

I really appreciate the encouragement! I love FP4! I've been lucky enough to test it in 35mm, 120, and 4x5! In all cases, I'm getting great results!

wow great video and such amazing photos, you truly inspired me to try this out. I have an RB67 and have access to a 3D printer. I’d really appreciate it if you could share the link to the finder mask so that I could print it out and try this myself thanks in advance and keep up the good work 👍

There's also these other two designs that may work if you have the RB67 (I have the RZ) www.thingiverse.com/thing:5215445 www.thingiverse.com/thing:5803643

Excellent. Did you crop out the sprocket holes?
@JudeStreicherPhoto
@JudeStreicherPhoto 3 ай бұрын
Yes, I did. I couldn't decide if they distracted from the photo or not, but I think in hindsight, I actually prefer the photos with sprockets.

do you have any info on the 3D print files you used? Particularly the guide you drop in the viewfinder
