Amazing ! This is what's meant by talking the talk and walking the walk - and remember if you are a beginner " If only the best birds sang,the woods would be very silent ".

BOUNUS TIP: Use a wide angle lens to accentuate your camera movements (most of these shots were shot at 16mm). I hope this video helps you capture some silky smooth footage. Good luck.

Creative 7 Inc so true! I find myself shooting less and less with a gimbal these days as I can usually pull the shots off needed hand held....plus it saves me time setting up and I carry less 👌

You can also shoot it all in 4K and edit in 1080p and just crop/zoom effect some of the stuff to add extra smooth movements

Thank you for sharing this! One question: how do you do the rotate movement with your image staying in landscape view (not to potrait when holding it sideways)? Or is this something you do afterwards in your editing process?

Hi Steve. Absolutely loving your videos. Quick question. With these handheld movements do you think there is any case for shooting at 60FPS and slowing down to 40% in the edit to get 24FPS? The downside in PP is of course you can't then use image/warp stabilisation. On balance do you think better to shoot at 24FPS and use warp stabiliser?
@dinchone
@dinchone 2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can use slow mo and warp stabilizer, first slow down the video and then click right click on the video on the timeline and then click nest sequence, and the apply warp stabilizer 😁

Do you recommend activating Digital IS in Canon for these shots? With my favorite lens 50 1.4 it is all I got, and it sometimes looks like Jell-o. On another hand, when using warp stabilization in Premiere, I get sometimes horrible Jell-o depending on how bad my shot was. And I get an even weirder effect when nesting (to combine slo-mo with warp stab, looks like ghosting).

@@LearnOnlineVideo thank you! my current camera (actually now I have only a smartphone) doesn't shoot in 60fps and I'm shooting everything in 25frp. If I buy a camera with 60fps, should I, in that case, shoot everything in 60fps? or just some of the views that I want to slow down in slow mo?
