In today's video, we head behind the scenes on two of my recent press shoots whilst I was in Stockholm, Sweden, working with two artists from the Epidemic Sound roster. I share some of my best tips for shooting press shots, in particular for musicians.

Amazing lighting set up at 2:06 - what sort of equipment setup were you using for it? Beautiful shots

Thank you! I was just using a spotlight attachment on the light. Also sometimes referred to as a projection attachment.

@@tdude129 I can’t remember this one in particular because it wasn’t my equipment, but I personally use the Nanlite projection attachment. I’ve featured it in loads of my videos though! I think this one in this video might have been aperture but they both perform the same way tbh.

when you shoot in the studio with constant/LED light what sort of ISO are you using?..ive found LED's to be not very bright.

Usually opt for an 800 speed just to be on the safe side, but it's doable with 400 too! It'll also depend on which constant lights you're using and the modifiers, of course.

epidemic sound?- a questionable company to be doing ads for (in this current\past climate); as you would have to "covid test" every file they gave you!!- to be shure that you were NOT given any viruses, as it is from "epidemic" the meaning of which is a disease which infects a large population, or the whole world.

@@nas9071 YES, I have Autism, and just stated an obvious fact, that I picked up, the wording of the company name, and Sophia's association with such a company, in these days of Corona virus, and suggesting to people that they use a company which is called "epidemic"; when ALL medical advise suggests getting Vaccinated AGAINST these viruses!- it is a puzzling message she is sending to us, just pointing this obvious association out to her, in case she didn't spot it🙂.
