Just stumbled here by coincidence and man, I really like your approach on the street. Open about what you're doing and not treating people as mere "subjects" but as human beings. I've got a nikon FM2, very well made camera, I'd say it feels like your ZF, but in an old style manner. As you said, a gentleman's camera. Good job.

I have the Voigtlander 40mm f/1.2 for Z on order. Can't wait, I think it's the perfect length for documentary.

I completely agree. I currently have a 28 and a 55 but the 40 would work beautifully as an all-rounder focal length. The 40 f/1.2 for z is the exact lens I’ve been wanting but it’s been back ordered for a while! I think I may ultimately get the 40 f/2 ultron for f mount in the meantime

Live in Utah but from Raleigh. Funny to see my old stomping grounds! Anyway, nice work and have been tempted by the Nikon ZF or the next version of it. I shoot Fuji (X-T5 currently) and my brother in Raleigh shoots Fuji as well. Anyway, love the action you are getting and I'm no street photography expert but I would get in a little closer (with caution) to my subjects but user discretion is advised! Get those free Nikon RED LUTs cause your video looks a bit flat. Just need to apply them in the post-processing and it will look much better without spending a lot of time on editing.
