It's possible that the Green Parking Brake wire was not installed correctly. When you apply the parking brake, several functions should become available, including: Dimmer Settings and video playback. I have the 2330. I don't use Pandora at all. Is it possible to remove it from the left side drop down menu completely? I use steering wheel control to cycle inputs, and I'd like it out of the cycle.

I'm not aware of a way to remove the Pandora Source from the in dash receiver source list. You can remove Spotify and BT Audio, AUX, and AV input, but not Pandora. Another option is to remove Pandora completely from your phone. Just delete the app. That way if you move through the Pandora source on the in dash receiver, it won't start to play if it's not available on your phone. Help! My AVH-2400NEX home screen layouts reset every time I power up the system, and sometimes they reset while I'm using a phone or AV app. How do I save my home screen layouts?

If your in-dash receiver resets each time you start the vehicle, the in-dash receiver's Yellow Wire may have an incorrect connection to the vehicle. The Yellow Wire provides constant power from the vehicle and is responsible for the Clock, Radio Station Presets, and other remembered settings for the in-Dash receiver. @@deckerdotto6035 Thank you for the thorough reply! I've done the firmware update. Interestingly my clock and radio presets save just fine. It's only the home screen layouts that aren't saved. So is it still a yellow wire problem? And why do you recommend resetting the microprocessor? I've tinkered with many settings and I'd hate to lose them...

If the clock and radio presets are working properly, the yellow wire is not the issue. When you change the layout on the home screen, you need to ( for example: press and hold the AV Source button) to highlight the full AV Source List. The Outline of the list is highlighted when you are making adjustments. When you're done making the adjustments, touch anywhere on the screen that is not the AV source list. The outline highlight disappears and this will save the changes. On the phone side of the home screen. the layout will only appear when a phone is connected through USB. If you are changing the background image be sure to save the background image to the home screen and not just the AV screen. The Two can be different. You can see that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZPTfIutp7Nrq9U If the system is not operating correctly, pressing the microprocessor reset button and doing a system restore can correct odd operation issues. If you choose to do a system restore and microprocessor reset, I recommend to take photos of your setting screens before you start.

You'll need to engage the vehicle's Parking Brake then press and hold in order to change the order of sources in the drop down list, and press and hold to rearrange the sources on the home screen, or the shape and number of sources shown. Be sure to play this video with sound. You need to switch off the "Power Saver" setting on your phone. What ever the setting is called on your phone to save battery power, switch it off. I don't get a tuner box in the area of the screen that also shows album art, I get a music note symbol. I have a AVH 2330 NEX. Is there a way to change that?

Different sources will show different images. The Tuner image is there when the AM/FM Radio is selected as the source. Unless the radio station is broadcasting an album art image on an HD Radio station. In that case you'll see album art. Turning the blending function off may change this depending upon the broadcast. When the HD Radio Source is selected, touch the Home Button. On the home screen is when you'll see the Tuner image. I'm not aware of a way to change that function.

Why does my AVH-2300NEX read "To use Android Auto, please stop your car and check your Android phone" ? I had this radio installed a week ago and still cant figure it out. Everyone says, just plug in the usb to phone cord and it should function, but mine isn't and its really frustrating me.

Is your phone set to "Stay on while Charging"? If not, you need to go to the phone's setting and turn on "Developer Options" and turn that feature on. You will also note that if it's not turned on and you try to use Maps, it will tell you that satellite feed is lost.

connect your phone to head unit .just go to your phone .scroll down on home screen for notification . you will see one notification same as this .just turn on navigation over there it will start working. hope this works for you
