Good video. Thanks a lot. Let's say it's liquid cash someone has. Is it OK to be put in our naira account I.e the regular savings account everyone in Nigeria has? I.e we don't need to open a dollar account to save the POF. Next question, what exchange rate should we use to mentally use to calculate how much we should have in naira I.e what exchange rate will the IRCC use to check we have that same amount in Maura since we are showing savings in a naira account? Heyyy! I never used a dollar account for POF, everything was in Naira. If you have one and there’s money inside it’ll count but with the current exchange rate if you buy off black market you’ll lose out more. I used www1.oanda.com/currency/converter/ It’s the most popular one I’ve seen

I used a company account with over 22m and my visa was denied because of me not having a financial asset. I want to re apply using my brothers USD account. He currently works and lives in America. This is not an immigration for financial advice! However hypothetically speaking if you get a loan from a bank, invest and lock it down in T-bills for a period of time. Hypothetically it sounds possible.

Write a gift of deed letter and get affidavit, state that you were gifted this money by your family (pick a person). Gift of deed doesn't have aging issues like other ways in proof of funds

Lol it’s fine. Yes you can use T-bills. The bank or whatever financial institution you invest with can issue you a letter (with their letter head and all the requirements) showing that you have it. Even if the investment due date is 6months into the future, that’s also fine so far they add that you can’t break the investment until it’s due. That would pass too
