How To Silkscreen Print Using Speedball Diazo Photo Emulsion

I created this silkscreen printing video to demonstrate how easy it is to print at home or in a small studio using Speedball Diazo Photo Emulsion. I will provide a supply list of the materials I used in the video below.

Supply List:
Speedball Diazo Photo Emulsion Kit
Speeball Squeegee
Speedball 10"x14" Silkscreen
Speedball Fabric Screen Printing Ink
Packing Tape
Scissors
Piece of cardboard (size of the shirt you're printing on)
Water Hose or Sink or Pressure washer (Water Source)
BBA No.1 Photo Flood Bulb 250w on a pie reflector with clamp
Piece of plexiglass (holds image down)
Copier transparencies
Shirt (to print on)
Disposable Spoons
Toothbrush (if using sink to transfer image onto screen with water)
Apron
Artwork to transfer onto a transparency

Great tutorial! Still a little nervous about 5 minutes exposure versus recommended 8 ;) Question - how many shirts can you screen before you have to wash the paint off the screen and "reset"? We have 30 of them to do, wondering if we can do them in a single batch or how many batches? We have this exact kit, so mighty glad to find this!

Why does Speedball instructions say exposure time is 10 min at 12"....So I think my problem has been that I am overexposing. I haven't been able to wash the screen out successfully. Thanks for this video.
