Hey Doug! Amazing seeing your vocal progress. Just curious to know what are your go to exercises daily? If you could pick 3-5 warm ups, scales, exercises to do daily that are the most beneficial for progress what would you pick?

How does The Weeknd sing very quite 4th octave notes that are not falsetto then ? Or is it the production that makes him sound quite? Song examples: nothing without u live, Montreal,

He is a unique case, in that his voice is much thinner in his full chest voice then most other singers

@@Dougzed how am I able to train myself to sing like him ?
@quo6894 Жыл бұрын
@@elja. i think you gotta be born with a thinner voice, otherwise you'd have to use other vocal techniques to achieve a similar sound

@@elja. Speech level singing teaches how to sing very thin. Look up “power to sing” and watch his covers. He’s a baritone but sings with a thin quietish tone

Idk why, but no matter what vowel or soft palate/resonance I use, I'm still loud and strainy. I'm doing everything in my power to lower my larynx, and it just keeps pulling itself up harder when I try to pull it down lower.
