I'm also learning by myself; I hope I'm on a good track. I can relate to Adelle for I damage my back after line dancing without warning up, and doing unwind turns quickly. ( Colors line dance , song by Black Pumas). I love that song. I'm glad I watched this episode because I really want to sing ' set fire to the rain' . It will be associated with a poem to be added to my second poetry book. You're a blessing to me. That part: ' as I threw us...., I listened to it a couple of times. I have no idea it's from chest voice to head voice. Oh! how ignorant I am. LOL

heyy ive got a question. When I sing highe notes I feel like my throat tightens up, I dont know what to do anymore coz everytime I train I do warmup and try to open my throat but when I'm singing actual song is pretty tough for me. What should I do?

When you're singing instead of saying "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" say "ehhhhhhhh" and whenever you sing high notes, open your mouth wide.

I try to belt with my chest voice but I end up coughing 😂

This usually indicates that you are straining and pulling up too much chest voice instead of staying in your mix. Check out my videos on mix voice - they will help you !

Hi, i was listening tp ypur video. Cool vid, but please use a little less reverb and compression. It sounds too far away and has a lot of white npise. You can mix woth a noise reducer. It will make the video much more professional. It's all in good faith, i'm just a mixer so i'm kind of obsessive with spund and i have a podcast, so i had to learn how to get a more pro sound. Also, i would advice you to buy monitors since those have a great balance of frequencies. I work on this, so if you want to send me the stems and the video file i could do a free one for you so you see the difference.

I totally agree! We simply cannot sound exactly like any one else because of our unique vocal anatomy. So in the video what I am aiming to do is help people to learn how to produce some of the characteristics of her singing so that they can be free to express themselves using the same techniques but still sounding like themselves.
