Thank you Freya! I've been practicing this song for the whole week with your tips :-) Today I found a nice karaoke piano version and started recording on my phone when trying to sing it for the first time....just to see how it sounds. I hope I will be able to record a better version in the future. The lyrics appeared too late and I was singing slightly out of timing. Anyway, it's just a raw version. ...PS. I hoped I could paste it here haha. That's a sign I have to record it correctly and put on youtube :-)

Freya, please help me. I am trying to sing this song per my vocal teacher, but some of those consonants are making me pull back and swallow the sound. Especially SOME of the "n's," "m's," and the word "is." This actually occurs during the higher notes and amplitude toward the end of the song. You say to enunciate the consonants, but I end up pulling my sound down, or back. Again, it only happens during the higher notes. "He is 'blind." And, "Only been pretending!" And, also of course, "that I have never known!!" Somewhere in those lyrics I just lose my rhythm and choke. I will be the first to admit that I am getting in my own way psychologically, as that is how I am unfortunately wired. But I cannot seem to get past it and it is making me feel like I should just quit singing. Thanks
