Guys don’t just go into singing whistle notes like this, don’t worry about words focus on a vowel. If you do it the way, she says to do it chances are you’ll end up putting a lot of strain on your voice, whistle notes are supposed to feel like nothing. This video feels like it’s just focussing on getting your voice to go up high. And you can push. I’m really damage your vocal cords doing it.

Hi! I’ve not experienced any vocal cord damage but do believe that if it hurts you should definitely stop and consult with a vocal teacher who specializes in whistle tones. I actually think there are other things to prioritize with regard to vocal development over whistle notes. These are ways that work for me :)

It didn't work because my voice gets stuck in falsetto screams that I have up to B5 and from there my voice gets stuck and no matter what I do I can't get into the whistle note even in the puppy exercise it just makes me a very high falsetto and not a whistle note and I had a whistle note so I know the The whistle note feeling I just lost them and now I can't get them back

Get the app tuner it literally tells u almost anything outside of frequency but it’s told me c10 before or smt like that I forgot (to be clear I didn’t use my voice for that I’m not claiming to get that high but you know like how u can make a high whistle with ur tounge n top of ur mouth

I have been trying to make whsitle notes for over a year, but no result. Have been watching tons of videos but I just can't get it. My limit is A5 but with belting or head voice (my lowest while singing would be a G2). Whatever random higher note i can get after that one (E6, D7, A7, C8), IF I can, comes out like a screech. Im a contralto btw. Tried to follow the tips in this video, but I couldnt make single whistle note either.

I honestly think having functional registers in chest and head voice are more important than whistles. How are those registers?

@@thisisshari Yeah, I agree. Theyre cool. I feel very comfortable with my voice. Can go up and down, play with the volume, etc. I like it that my voice sounds more masculine in the 3rd octave but it sounds feminine in the 4th and 5th. It is a little frustrating that i cant whistle, you think I should keep trying? I cant even scream. Like when people scream (like in a horror movie and such), they usually hit rly high notes (ofc screaming is bad for your chords).

It really depends. If it’s your actual peak then no don’t think so. But if vocal tendencies are preventing you from from stretching your cords then maybe the removal of those tendencies could help you reach your actual peak.
