😄 I cry all the time when I sing, apparently I have a reputation for either crying or make people cry in my singing school! The first few times I practice an emotional song are a write off because I end up sobbing!

Definitely have to tap into the lyrics. Tie it into what is a personal experience which works when writing music, producing, and writing a book.

This video is OUTSTANDING! I have been waiting for this video for years. Where do I get the wheel of emotions? That would be so helpful in so many situations! Also, kudos for correctly identifying that this song is about compassionately ENDING a relationship. May not seem difficult to you, but I have cringed as people chose it to walk down the aisle at weddings... 🤦🏻♀️

I'm with you, when singers or listeners don't pay attention to the lyric. Makes me sad. 😭 Thank you for your lovely comment!

Thank you for this video. It not only helped me with how to view a song, but how to view my emotions, as I am struggling with CPTSD and I am in the process of using singing to heal and make sense of my emotions and fears. Thank you so much.

You need to hyper link your “Work With Me” link in your description. It’s not clickable and I had to manually put it in my search bar to see it. I love your content! You’re one of the few teachers on YT that actually knows what she’s talking about. Don’t miss out on any traffic. Hyper link that baby! Us teachers gotta stick together! ❤️❤️❤️

I have no problem with the emotion part haha😅, but I was wondering if you could go further into not getting too emotional and tearing up.
