I had the same problem this sounds weird af but it worked amazing for me, Ok so 1. Once out get out of the shower brush all your hair backwards from your face like slicked back kindof 2. Use like mousse and then really scrunch it from all directions, you can use a little bit of gel to whatever you have 3. Let it dry like flipped back over your head like it’s slicked back but just let it to dry I know it sounds so weird but it worked for me so you can always give it a try

@@doulaolgamke I feel you. I am in this journey almost 4 years now. I can say that my hair looks its best since the lockdown and the quarantine. (I guess it's because our hair doesn't face pollution and change in humidity as much). It's in a significantly better place than ever, but there's still room for progress. My hair takes the shape of whatever I do to it. So unfortunately if I style it at night to protect it, I will have the opposite effects. My hair will stay up even when I take it off the bun and the silk case🤷‍♀️ Sometimes it's a hard and emotional process but, we deserve it. It's gonna be okay, we got this✊

I got a silk bonnet a year ago where the silk was on the outside and the inside was some chiffon material, like WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT??! The point of a silk bonnet is to have the silk part on contact with the curls, therefore it has to be on the inside. Being on the outside serves no purpose

My daughter has 3B curls. I love your videos and I’m really excited to change her hair routine. I was using all of the recommended products but not applying them correctly. I was curious if you had any advice about 3B bangs and the best way to style them? I gave her bangs because she was always pulling out her hair clips and I got tired of giving her the same half up pony all the time. But it seems impossible to style her bangs correctly.

Am I the only person who has been obsessed with silk bedding for over 35 years (yea, I'm aging myself), however, in all of my years, I have grown to despise silk bedding. I slide off of my silk pillowcases... end up sleeping with no pillow... wake up with a crick in my neck that takes multiple days to go away. Surely I'm not the only person with this problem?!? I've bought a silk bonnet, and I've never used it or even opened it from the package because I realized it's just going to slide right off of my pillow causing the same issues. Add a silk pillowcase to that as well, and I'd probably end up falling off the bed somehow... anyone have any tips?

I have the same problem. What I do is saturate my hair every night with product, I use leave in and oil, and once every strand is completely saturated, I carefully finger detangle and brush very gently with a wide tooth comb. It's similar to what you'd do in the shower, only difference is you use leave in products instead of shampoo. The products you apply first will combat friz when you move onto detangling. After you finished detangling, blot any excess product with a t shirt and style with denman brush if needed 😊

I have Italian hair, which is fine but curly and can get frizzy. It's prone to break. Do you have any tips for hair like this. When I use too much oil, it gets really flat.

It gets dry too! So I'm always trying to figure out if I should deep condition, oil or do something else?

best tip from a guy with perfect curls - never EVER use parabens or sulfate in your shampoo or conditioner! tip 2: dont dry your hair with a towel at all - after you shampoo and condition it which shod be once a week only - u put shea butter leave in conditioner and then pineapple tie it - let the conditioner be absorbed and nourish your curls you can sleep or whatever - then next day jus spray one of those like anti frizz sprays - ur hair should already be lookin super good - but that spray jus extra mist -

Do you know of a place where homeless/poor people can acquire bonnets? Some of the companies want 15 dollars for me to protect my hair and that's a whole days worth of groceries. I am extremely poor and I have homeless friends that arent able to take care of their hair either. The bins they let us pick from for hygiene products typically dont have stuff for 2c and higher and especially nothing for ethnic hair. We deserve to take care of our hair too.

Hey, I need your help. My hair as between a 3a-3b, super fine and I have TONS. I’m currently not using any product in it other than regular conditioner and its ok but I would love to find a product that works. The problem is that I’m super sent sensitive and anything I’ve tried that remotely worked has given me headaches. Do you know of any good very mild or sentless curl creams? Thank you so much 💜💜💜

try seen shampoo and conditioner, it’s a lil pricey but it’s fragrance free and has hypoallergenic and has ingredients that are safe for ur skin!!

they also have a curl cream and you can use it as an all in one product if ur hair is really lightweight, it has heat protection in it too and it’s also fragrance free and hypoallergenic :)

koils by nature has a fragrance free gel which i personally love, a lil goes a long way for it and i don’t get a cast! they also have a leave in but i personally never tried it but it sounds amazing, might be a lil heavy tho i’m not sure but maybe putting a lil will work great

Erghhh I'd love to wear a silk bonnet to help frizz (I use a silk pillowcase and it doesn't make much difference for me) but I'd feel so silly and embarrassed wearing it in front of and whilst sleeping next to my partner 😂

I get that, but I'd feel even more silly and embarrassed if hubby had to wake up in the morning and see a giant friz ball on my head. For me that's even worse so I'll happily look silly in a silk cap if it means my hair looks perfect for my partner when he awakens :)

@@stariehearts2366 Ah good point! I've never woken up looking crazy though and I have long waist length curly hair, might be because I sleep with it in a ponytail but I'm sure if I slept with it down it would be a frizzy matted mess in the morning 🤣

@@GK-rt2oz ah you're lucky lol. I'm 2C and my waves friz into a mountain no matter the hairstyl so silk caps and scarves are a must for me. Only time I don't wear silk to bed is on Halloween so I can give my man a good scare in the morning hahaha 😂😂
