I got a silk bonnet a year ago where the silk was on the outside and the inside was some chiffon material, like WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT??! The point of a silk bonnet is to have the silk part on contact with the curls, therefore it has to be on the inside. Being on the outside serves no purpose

What I do is saturate my hair every night with product, I use leave in and oil, and once every strand is completely saturated, I carefully finger detangle and brush very gently with a wide tooth comb. It's similar to what you'd do in the shower, only difference is you use leave in products instead of shampoo. The products you apply first will combat friz when you move onto detangling. After you finished detangling, blot any excess product with a t shirt and style with denman brush if needed 😊

best tip from a guy with perfect curls - never EVER use parabens or sulfate in your shampoo or conditioner! tip 2: dont dry your hair with a towel at all - after you shampoo and condition it which shod be once a week only - u put shea butter leave in conditioner and then pineapple tie it - let the conditioner be absorbed and nourish your curls you can sleep or whatever - then next day jus spray one of those like anti frizz sprays - ur hair should already be lookin super good - but that spray jus extra mist -

The bins they let us pick from for hygiene products typically dont have stuff for 2c and higher and especially nothing for ethnic hair. We deserve to take care of our hair too.
