You asked for footwork on slipping the clutch and burnouts, YOU GOT THEM.
Driver aids are something i try to tell people to stay away from until completely necessary. Hopefully ths video explains what i've mean when i say "Slip the clutch".
Burnout
VMPperformance
MT82
Mantic clutch
Drag radial.

Thank you Alex. Finally someone posts a proper burnout tutorial. I am sick of seeing the dump the clutch, jump on the brake with your left foot method.

Anthony D'Orazio a proper burnout is done without a brake just horsepower.

Left foot brake works fine.
@anthonydorazio260
@anthonydorazio260 7 жыл бұрын
I agree that it works. But, IMO the heel toe method is better and easier on your rear brakes when done correctly. When people jump on the brakes with heir left foot, they tend to get on it real hard at first.

Tim Martin. I am a drag racer. As such, I stay in the water box for a few seconds before spinning out of it. So, yes, no brakes can work too, but for my purposes a short standing burnout prior to rolling out is important.

Dont forget, the WOT Box No-Lift shift is no bullshit. GT500s are notorious for grinding or lockout of 1-2. With basic mods, the WOT Box completely eliminates the Grind/lockout. Best $200 money can buy and if your engine valve timing system can handle it, the 2 step launch controller is insane.

My son took his Subaru WRX to the dealer for cold running problem and power steering fluid leak. They could not make it stall so my son told them to keep it over night and try the next morning. The car got fried and though they (after much discussion over the issue) repaired it .... short block, etc... they never admitted as to how it got blown. My son never ran it on a track or otherwise and never had a speeding ticket (4 years of driving it). He changed the oil every 3 thousand miles and the expensive new tires were only 1 year old when this happened.. He did the second oil change after the rebuild and when rotating the tires front to back, we noticed they were bald on the inside. Could the bald tires be the result of the burn outs that blew the engine?

So basically it's just holding it at the biting point for the clutch to grab and then as it gets traction then slowly release the clutch?? Because if it is I do it everyday whilst driving lol I thought a lot of instructors teach to drive like this fho? Like holding at the bite point until you feel the car going smoothly then release the clutch slowly afterwards

Couldn't you just air down the tires to help absorb shock? It would help some I'd imagine not as much as a bias ply but enough to wrinkle an absorb. I wish they had the ET Street Rs before I went with a the ET Street Pros thats my next purchase since it seems they have a bias with the driveablity as a radial an no need to run skinnys up front just swap rears an go.

+Alejandro Flores So I've got my first car that I plan on going forced induction with. I want to go centrifugal supercharger on it and make 600whp on stock internals which I know is very possible on a 2014 5.0 with a manual like I have. I plan on going with a Paxton but would appreciate your input on tuning and supporting mods to safely maintain that power for a daily driver. I have my eyes set on a Paxton Novi 2200 SL.
