DukeSloth what about the support Watchers+rangda because it probably would benefit the support more if your adc is getting the kills inlane and your rotating and otherlanes are getting kills and ahead. you will most likely benefit well from it.

Really helpful guide. Even though I have been following the updates, I hadn't really understood what junglers could/should do in the early game. Thanks for helping figuring it out. On a side note, around 20:18 you start talking about jungle, but the label on the top left corner doesn't change. Just pointing that out :)

Thank you! Oh, that's just because Solo and Jungle are tied at the start, so this is more "the guys who are in solo lane at the start" than just the solo laner, same as I didn't seperate duo into hunter and adc!

I think the names for the lanes should change over time, to stop confusion. Solo becomes Short, Duo becomes Long and Mid stays Mid.

I dont believe it lets you do anything to the enemy ward. You can see it on the minimap, but cannot see it on the ground in front of you.

quick question, For getting the Fire Giant, Duke states that you get a damage, regen, and most importantly STRUCTURE DAMAGE, I under stand that the structure damage buff leads to having an easier time burning down towers and phoenixes, but does it also apply to the Titan as well? because the titan could be excluded, but this question can also lead to late game priority when it comes to either burning the titan rather than worrying about the two or thee guys defending.

I never really been a fan of starter items and I also noticed that a lot of mages in mid expect the jungled to come to the middle lane with them in the beginning which makes me confused. The mage deals the most damage in the beginning, they wouldn't need help from a jungler

The people I play with at the moment have the support follow the jungler around the jungle. Idk why. I usually play solo so I just focus on my lane but the last game we played we had Aphrodite follow our jungler around the whole game.

I think you forgot to mention the gold changes leading to Junglers building damage being subpar. Their gold generation is way down due to no gold sharing. Your laners also need camps more due to lower experience gain in lane. You will most likely be sharing all your camps or having your camps take with exception to Speed Buff. As I said this lowers your gold gain leading to tank/hybrid builds being far more effective due to defense being better with a lower gold income and being better form behind.

Hey Duke, you didn't mention it but I'm curious what do you think about double ADCs in duo. The last 2 days me and my friend were going Magical ADC + Physical ADC. Mostly Neith and Chronos. The new lifesteal item for mages (Book of the dead I think) and Shaman's ring gives them so much sustain. On the physical side we usually build the standard ADC builds from S3. Do you think this could work out in higher levels of ranked?

I dunno if it's all too viable. In the case of Chronos + Neith, you're still having the early/late combo to support each other, but you'll run into problems involving not having enough frontline on your team, when teamfights start. Be careful building Book of the Dead. It's an incredibly expensive item- only 300 gold less than _Rod of Tahuti_. If you try to rush it, or fall behind before building it, you're going to be in for a painful few minutes while you scrounge about for the gold. You're better off building Bancroft's on magical adcs, since its passive will now scale lifesteal as well as power. Standard S3 adc builds work fine though. I've been hearing good things about grabbing both Ichaival _and_ Silverbranch; they give you lots of power really quickly, assuming you land basics.

dragontyron Well we solved the frontline problem with Nike jungle and Guan solo. Build wise we didn't rush BoD, we got Warlock sash, penetration boots, Shaman's Ring then BoD. And yeah, we were skipping rough ADC starts like Artemis, Ullr or Hou yi.

I know you said that backs are mostly for jungles but you have those mages like Isis that clear incredibly fast and will be looking to farm more.

It was mentioned in the video that Swift wing+boots is for those who are more concerned with getting to lane faster, and generally playing more passively. my question is: Who would you get this start on? I mean, it sounds good, because you can get to lane quicker and therefore back more often without too much consequence and stuff, but why get this start over death's toll, for example, that gives you power and sustain? Im asking this as someone who has been on smite for a while and played conq s3, as a solo laner maining Amaterasu. Would Amaterasu (a lategame focused god) make better use of: 1) Deaths Toll + boots 2) Swift Wing + boots 3) Bumba's + boots T2 ? 1 obviously has more sustain and power. 2 makes it so that if you get poked out you can get back to lane quicker. 3 gets your build online quicker I see swift wing's value in duel, joust and arena, but not so much for conquest unless youre against jing wei Forgive the long, multi-part question

I know Allied currently builds Swift Wing later, after finishin his first starter, so the uses vary. I'm not really sure who to get swift wing on, maybe Nike in a losing matchup (loses lane pressure anyways) and maybe Xing Tian and Sobek because of their natural survivability and sustain, with their primary uses being in lategame teamfights. With Ama, I'd probably still go Bluestone for extra clear of Death's Toll for survivability, also really like Mark of the Vanguard on her.

Too early to say, there are some gods that definitely perform better, for example Apollo, but we need to see some high level play first.

Yo so I'm somewhat new to Smite and I'm wondering how do I deal with a 2v1 in the duo lane? I understand the support rotates to middle to farm up and stuff but when I'm playing let's say, Artemis or another Adc with zero clear, how do I survive? Or even keep up in levels? A 2v1 with aggressive support is for me very hard to deal with. Should I call for help? Or should I make do?

You really have no other choice but getting pushed out and farming under tower. Keep in mind you won't lose XP, just gold, while the other 2 split XP.

Can anyone tell me how the hell the enemies in Conquest or Siege come to the lane being higher level that any of my teammates? Where exactly do they gain that xp? Once in Siege from the start we cleaned 2 camps, then went to a lane and my teammate was immediately killed by thanatos' ult!! How did he get that lvl 5 so fast? While we hardly got our 4!
