Another great video Maria. I like the distinction you draw between craving / appetite and true hunger - often overlooked by most people. Keep up the good work 👍

Could Greek yogurt substitute for mayonnaise in a tuna, celery, apple & spring onion sandwich mix? Would it be a better choice?
@MariauceyRD_Dietitian3 ай бұрын
Hi Aileen, yes that would be a better choice, I recommend this a lot. It still provides creaminess whilst also adding some more protein.

Every week I buy a grapefruit and cut it into eight pieces. The only time I get hungry between meals is sometimes between my light, early breakfast and lunch. Just one or two wedges of the grapefruit is enough to get me to the next meal, and no one ever gained weight eating grapefruit. 😉

That is great Kim! If that is what works for you the stick with it and thank you for sharing 💛 Nutrition is never a one-size fits all approach, I prefer to think of these tips as guidelines but they are not rules you need to stick to.

Kwark/quark is nicer than cottage cheese!

I agree, it's really nice! I find it hard to find where I live unfortunately, but when I'm in Ireland I love eating it!

@@MariauceyRD_Dietitian there’s only one company that makes it where I am too and they only make it a few days each week. That said it must be getting a bit more popular because it’s rare it’s not at the supermarket compared to two years ago. I first had it in Germany otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do with it. Way better than cottage cheese though which is really salty tasting.
