Thanks for stopping by and watching our video! If you are looking for a puppy class in the LA area, we highly recommend J9's K9s Dog Training (j9sk9s.com) for group puppy classes that provide structured play time and teach students about dog body language. (Not sponsored - we just bounced between a few puppy classes before we found "the one" and wanted to provide a resource for those in our area!)

Thank you for your video, I rencently discovered your channel and this is really helpful! I'm about to have my german shepherd puppy (3 weeks left) and I had concerns about the socialization, pandemic, puppy not imune to diseases.. Now, it's more clear to me :) Keep us posted with Kibo!

When you bring him to new places, what are the boundaries for a puppy that is not fully vaccinated? Can they walk on their own, but once they stop and sit, it has to be on a pad? Or are hard surfaces (like concrete) ok but grass is dangerous? Hope that question makes sense!
@emwng3 жыл бұрын
Walking on sidewalks and roads is generally safer because you can see if there are animal feces that your puppy may encounter and catch a disease from. Grass is tougher because you can't always easily spot things you don't want your puppy to get in to. We started teaching our pup to walk with us as soon as he came home at 9 weeks for very short periods of time and made sure to sanitize his paws after every walk.

Do you mind me asking which breeder you went with? I'm looking into breeder options for a future WSS puppy for myself, and would love another potentially great breeder to add to my list of choices. WSS breeders are in short supply.

Yay! This video helped a lot , I recently got a 10 week corgi , she’s very playful but tends to bite our ankles and can hurt, I try to redirect her with toys and positive reinforcement but she tries it again with our pants and feet. I’ll get her a matte so she can see other dogs from afar ☺️! Hope it helps she’s getting her second shot in 3 days 🙏🏼

Ah yes the puppy biting can be a pain! Kibo is doing the same to us. I'd recommend checking out a puppy class. They can provide good tips on how to deal with biting! One thing to try is to say "Ow!" and turn around and ignore your puppy when they bite you (or even leave the room). Good luck!

My puppy does that a lot too, I notice that he gets really mouthy and jumpy when he’s overtired like a toddler! He’s really sweet until he gets overstimulated and wants to fight sleep to keep playing, but really he’s just in need of a nap time :)

What treats do you use
@vanessa97982 жыл бұрын
@@LovePatience32 small pierces of chicken, or bacon ! She doesn’t react too much to regular treats but with cooked ones she does 😊
